health-detail

Our health is our most valuable resource, and suffering from health issues is a truly universal problem. The rich suffer from deadly diseases and are touched by lapses in healthcare systems, but poorer people, and poorer nations, are undoubtedly disproportionately affected. The world’s most vulnerable populations are ravaged by illness and lack of care, which is made that much more difficult by the myriad other impediments to success that plague them. Dangers to world health include viruses, bacteria, and insufficient nutrition, but ignorance and inequitable distribution of health services are equally deadly. Without good health, we are unable to take advantage of any opportunities that come our way, so it is essential that we support health causes not just to save lives, but to ensure that people lead meaningful lives.
